Hello! My name is Carsten Lepre, and I am a 16 year old music lover and CD collector. Carsten’s CD Collection Radio is my project to deliver my favorite songs directly to the listener, while honing my love for podcasting with live commentary and deep dives.
My music taste is eclectic, because when your main source of listening is thrifted/record store bought CDs, you never know what you’ll pick up. However, you’ll hear a lot of John Mayer, Coldplay, Beatles, Tame Impala, Jack Johnson, and more.
Stick with me for fun segments like full album listen-throughs or a focus on one specific artist for a few songs with intermittent commentary and anecdotes.

Q: Is this playing music 24/7?
A: No, it’s an exclusive live broadcast that I host the whole time from 7:00–10:00 pm only on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Q: Can I send you CDs?
A: I don’t have a PO Box opened yet, but you can purchase me a CD on throne at throne.com/carstenscdradio!
Q: Is this legal?
A: Yes! I’m fully licensed through Live365.
Q: Is there a community for this?
A: Yes! Join the Discord at the bottom of the page.
Q: What can I request?
A: I only accept requests I have on CD to stay true to the theme. There is a Google Sheet pinned in Discord for reference.
Q: When can I call?
A: I usually accept callers throughout the broadcast, but if I recieive your call during a song, I will message you and call back after.
Q: Why did your station randomly go off air?
A: My WiFi can be unpredictable, but I post updates on Discord with return times.
Q: Can I submit original music?
A: Of course! Send me an audio file on Instagram (@carstenscdradio) or through email (carstenscdcollection@gmail.com) and I’ll give it a preliminary listen and hopefully have it on in the upcoming days.
Q: How do I start my own radio station?
A: This is a question that I am willing to explain but it is quite complicated! Email me and I will do my best.
